InPrint 2017: Tichawa Vision Presents VTCIS and VDCIS with all new Features
Friedberg, 17th Oktober 2017. On the 14th till 16th November in Munich, Tichawa Vision GmbH will be introducing not one, but two new innovations during their first showing at the trade fair InPrint. At their booth #254 in Hall A6, the specialist for high-precision CIS sensors will be presenting the VTCIS as well as the internationally acclaimed VDCIS. The industrial scanner streamlined for digital, inkjet and security printing has been equipped with new functions, which automatically recognize missing nozzles at a resolution of 1200 dpi. With its increased operating distance and depth of field, the VDCIS opens up completely new fields of application such as Direct-to-shape Printing and the inspection of strongly profiled surfaces in near 3D quality.
The specialist for high-precision camera systems is continually expanding
Friedberg / Augsburg, 3 August 2017. Tichawa Vision opened a new manufacturing hall located in the district Lechhausen in Augsburg. Since the beginning of July, the high-tech company has been producing high-precision industrial scanners for industrial quality control on a surface area of roughly 650 square meters. Rising sales figures made it necessary to relocate the manufacturing department, while Management, Sales and Development remain at the headquarters in Friedberg. By increasing the manufacturing area, Tichawa Vision is also increasing its productivity by 30 percent. The new facilities also offer more room for machines: Tichawa will from now on be able to manufacture 95 percent of its parts in-house.

Friedberg / Chicago, 5th April 2017. At this year’s Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards, Tichawa Vision won Gold for their new VDCIS Industrial Scanner. The VDCIS, a high-precision CIS (Contact Image Sensor) intended for industrial quality control, convinced the jury with its outstanding qualities and its high level of innovative energy. Dr. Nikolaus Tichawa, CEO of Tichawa Vision received the award personally at the Automate 2017, the largest trade show for automation technology in North America.
Vision 2016: Tichawa Presents CIS with Improved Depth of Field and Optimized Working Distance
Friedberg, 4 October 2016. As highlight on the Vision 2016 Tichawa Vision GmbH will be exhibiting a new CIS-Contact Image Sensor with improved functions. The CIS-Sensor, which will be displayed in Hall 1 at Booth H42, has the ability to inspect food and blister packagings, as well as products made of glass, wood, metal, plastic and ceramics with a resolution of 300 dpi and a depth of field of 10 mm, instead of the previous 1,5 mm. The specialist for high-precision CIS-Sensors based in Friedberg has additionally increased the working distance from 10 to 60 mm. The Multicolor CIS is another innovation which Tichawa will be presenting at their booth at the trade show. The industrial scanner intended for demanding inspection tasks in the fields of safety, digital and inkjet printing is the first CIS with adaptable resolution.
